Tuition Time!

I think all kids HATE TUITION.

I personally disliked it very much when i was young. Not that i like it now though.

I TOTALLY DREAD IT WHEN I WAS YOUNG. Always late (:

But what can we do? We are afterall kids under the hands of our caring parents who help us look out for our future when we can't, right?

And here comes the PRI 2 boy i'm currently giving tuition to.

One thing about Lower Primary kids; THEY CANT KEEP STILL FOR A MOMENT!!!!

One moment he's still on his seat, the next he's squatting on his chair. Then he left his chair and stood, and climb back to the chair and stood ON the chair.

They love to pop random questions at you, don't they?

He shares with me what he likes and bla bla, which is a good and bad thing. Once kids get familiar with you, WOOOOOOSH~ Gone are your power over them man.

He likes talking about random stuffs just to break out from the tuition routine i think.

Well the biggest problem i meet being a freshie tuition teacher is that i DO NOT UNDERSTAND their standards. I just cant figure out how much they know and don't. UNGUESSABLE.

For instance, my PRI 5 sister knows the word "Scapegoat" but not the word "Contribute". Well to me i think the former is of a higher standard as compared to the latter.

And it is DIFFICULT to explain to them mathematical logic which they do not understand/ too lazy to be bothered with.

Like i want to pack 80 marbles into boxes of 5...

So 80/5=16

UN-UNDERSTANDABLE TO HIM.

Oh gosh.

But it's better teaching him than the other P6 i'm taking. The other is just so quiet and "grown up". I think i like kids because of their very natural kinda behaviour. They don't care too much about what others think. They are just farting around, laughing at stupid things, liking extremely childish and meaningless cartoons. As though living in a dream world, which contains no trace of reality...

And at the end of lesson this time round, since my mood is good, i stayed on a little while longer to do drawing with him, one of his FAV past-time.
