Since the stone age, there is already a form of dance in the human race. There are a few reasons for this, namely for entertainment or celebration, or as the art of seduction. Both carry the element of expression of the spirit and emotions of the dancers.



Whether is it an intuition for the early humans to create special movements with their bodies -individually or as a group- or is it the imitation of certain animals which are crafted by the God to perform those unique movements, the art of dance has indeed evolved over the centuries and diversified into their different genres, greatly and powerfully, guided by the flow of creativity juices in man's mind.

Though dance now comes in many forms, i believe its most basic functions still stays, and the movement of the body, regardless whether is it crude or graceful, pronounces the person's inner self to a large extent.

Looking at the animal kingdom, some birds and beasts also share similar kinds of bodily expression like the humans - or rather, human dances were derived from them. For instance, the Flamingo dance, just as its name suggests, is an imitation of the dance of the Flamingo birds by the humans. But unlike humans, the animals' sole goal of 'dancing' is to attract the opposite sex for mating - the art of seduction naturally ingrained in their pysche.



Humans also 'dance for sex'. And this can be clearly demostrated in the clubs, where body language does most of the talking. Of course, looks do count, but in the dark, body contacts and movements do more of the promises, very unlike normal dates where overall appearance and personality of the person carry a heavier say. I think it is crude when teens resort to this to find their boy/girl friends for r/s or sex partners.





The good dance moves displayed by one does not tell much about the person, though some actions makes the person evidently slutty or promiscuous. Thus it is important for young people to realise the danger of randomly picking someone of interest on the dancefloor for one night stand. And it is essential that girls avoid explicit contacts with the guys though PDA may be widely accepted already in this era. Plus as mentioned earlier, some actions may give the others really wrong impressions too. Well, there are some girls who are slutty and they do prefer being the slut they are, so there's nothing else to suggest already isn't it.

Sometimes it is good for some to lose themselves a little, and go crazy. But going too crazy or not having precautions taken can cause disasterous implications such as molest, onenightstand...

We live in a very open society. But much that we are allowed to do this and that, we must not be misled by the unholistic guidelines and bounders set by our broken society. Everyone should have their own value systems which can protect them some unwholesome enthics and unclean behaviours that they are occasionally compelled to succumb to.
